Job Title: Aftersales Advisor
Location: North London N11 3DG
Salary: Up to 29000 basic salary (depending upon experience) OTE Up to 42000
Full Time and Permanent
45hrs per week
Rota for Saturday mornings 1 in 3 per month

Our Client are one of the UK s fastest growing dealer groups representing global brands such as Volvo Hyundai LEVC Lotus INEOS and Polestar across 22 dealerships in London Buckinghamshire Hertfordshire Suffolk and Essex

Due to continued success they are now seeking an Aftersales Advisor to join our clients sales team at their North London Dealership.

Our client offers a superb opportunity to the right person who is able to demonstrate a successful and stable track record (ideally within the automotive industry although not necessary as full training will be provided).

Job Purpose:
Our Clients Aftersales Advisors manage all customer enquiries either by telephone or in person and successfully convert these into firm bookings. The role aims to maximise service sales and profitability through selling core valueadded and incremental products. An Aftersales Advisor must pride themselves in providing an exceptional customer service experience and this role is central to delivering that; delivering the highest levels of customer service to ensure customer loyalty and repeat custom.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • To greet all customers cheerfully and attend to their requirements promptly.
  • To obtain and record full customer/vehicle details and accurate description of work to be carried out.
  • To liaise with the Foreman/Service Manager on the progress of vehicles in the Workshop.
  • To inform customers of any delay in completion (Complying with the Company Pledge)
  • To maintain the Workshop loading system.
  • To inform customers of any work which it has not been possible to carry out and arrange future appointment for completion.
  • To prepare both cash and account invoices.
  • To present cash customers with an invoice and receive payment before the vehicle is removed from the premises.
  • To deal with customer queries and complaints.
  • In conjunction with the Service Manager ensuring Workshop loading utilises full labour potential.
  • To ensure that information required for Warranty items is recorded on the Job Card.
  • To liaise with Parts Department regarding parts on order for vehicles in the Workshop/Service customers/forthcoming bookings.
  • To file Job Cards and other documentation.
  • Help achieve sales targets as set out by the Aftersales Service Manager


Requirements

The ideal candidate will:
  • Strong Customer Service / Administrative experience
  • Flexible approach and a positive attitude
  • Motor Trade experience is essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in a selling/customer service environment.
  • Full driving licence
  • Evidence of Right to Work in the UK

The successful applicant will be highly motivated efficient and organised. You must be used to working in a competitive and process driven sales environment and possess excellent communication and customer handling skills.
