School Nurse - Cherokee County

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated OneonOne School Nurse to provide specialized care for a 16yearold male student with complex medical needs at Hickory Flat High School. The student has a history of cerebral palsy is wheelchairbound nonverbal blind diapered incontinent Gtube dependent and experiences seizures. The nurse will ensure the students health and safety during the school day and while riding the bus to and from school.

Working Conditions:

Fulltime position Monday to Friday during school hours.
Providing care in a school environment including classroom settings gym and bus rides.

Qualifications:

Education:

Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.

Skills and Abilities:

Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and make sound medical decisions in a school setting.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
