Your new role – challenging and future-oriented:
- The occupation covered by this standard is that of HV Cable - Engineer to include Technical CAD Droughting, Review of Employers Requirements, Site Engineering if required, associated with the management of building construction projects, and are based on sites or in offices.
- The main duties and tasks of an Engineer - HV Cable are:
- Preparation of project design drawings, including all site prep drawings, route plans, working areas, detailed long sections/cross sections, Single Line Diagrams & data extraction, etc. for Substation.
- 3D Cable Routing where required.
- Measurement of Cable routing and confirming the route lengths on site at both contract and tender level if required.
