Experienced Data Cabling Technician Level 3 Dallas Metroplex

We are currently seeking Experienced Structured Cabling Technicians for Levels 2 and 3 to handle Support & Deployments for clients throughout the DFW area.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Installation of Panduit jacks and ability to use DSX Fluke tester
  
• Capable of performing all of the abovementioned tasks in addition to identifying and labeling Cat 5e and 6 cables.
  
• Closet terminations (110 / 66 blocks and Patch Panels).
  
• Installation of security cameras and other IP devices.
  
• At least some exposure to fiber terminations (Specific experience will vary from one person to the next)
  
• Ability to think on your feet and improvise when needed.
  

Level 3 Approximately 4 to 10 years of experience. ($19 $26 hourly DOE)

Responsibilities:

Capable of performing all of the tasks mentioned above in addition to performing leadlevel responsibilities on crews ranging from 710 technicians.

Ensure we have everything needed to complete a job

Work hand in hand with client to ensure we meet their requirements.

Performing all terminations testing and documentation on both copper and fiber optics is required.

A/V experience a plus (Crestron Extron Atlona)

Requirements For Any Level

• Must be able to distinguish colors.
  
• Must be able to pass a background check successfully and a drug screen.
  
• Must have reliable transportation.
  
• Willing to work days nights and weekends when needed.
  
• Willing to go anywhere in the Dallas / Fort Worth area for work.
