Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our talented team. • The location is in Lancaster Ohio
• The working schedule for this role is Nights 6:00 pm 6:30 am
• The duration is 12 weeks as a contractor
• The anticipated start for this role is two weeks after an accepted offer
• Holiday requirements are not needed
• EMR used: Cerner
• The pay: $65.06 Hourly ($42.00 Taxable $23.06 Stipend) $2342.00 Weekly $9368.00 Monthly Gross

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess treat and care for patients with pulmonary disorders and conditions
• Responsible for all respiratory care modalities
• Performs cardiopulmonary patient assessments and evaluations for patients on the therapist driven protocols
• Performs therapeutic respiratory care modalities
• Provides critical care and ventilator management
• Responds to all designated medical emergency codes
• Performs cardiopulmonary diagnostic tests
• Documents all patient care in the electronic medical record
• Provides support to procedural areas as needed
• Assists with collection of quality improvement data
• Performs and analyzes arterial blood gases

Qualifications:

• 3 year of experience in respiratory therapy working with respiratory equipment
  
• Current ACLS BLS/BCLS PALS certifications
• RRT CRT certifications
  
• Strong knowledge of pulmonary function and pulmonary rehabilitation
• Comfortable working independently
• Familiar with safety and confidentiality standards
