Job Description

The Sales Manager will lead and oversee the activities and performance of our sales team. They will be responsible for coordinating all activities related to sales from lead generation to closing deals. The Sales Manager will also be tasked with developing and implementing effective sales strategies setting sales targets and ensuring these targets are met or exceeded.

Key responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
Set targets performance plans and standards for the sales team to meet.
Meet regularly with the team to review progress targets and general performance.
Coach sales team to help them improve their technique and productivity.
Ensure the team knows how to use various sales techniques correctly.
Recruit train and oversee a team of sales representatives.
Support discipline report and dismiss sales teams that are not up to standard.
Develop a scalable sales process and ensure reps follow it.
Hold teambuilding events away from company locations.
Conduct detailed performance reviews on an annual or semiannual basis.
Monitor competition industry trends and economic indicators.

Software/Tools:
CRM Software Proficiency: Essential for managing customer relationships and sales data. Examples include Salesforce HubSpot Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Zoho CRM.
Sales Performance and Analytics Tools: Necessary for monitoring performance metrics and making datadriven decisions includes Tableau Power BI and Google Analytics.
Microsoft Office or Google Suite: Fundamental for daytoday operations including Excel for data analysis PowerPoint for presentations and Word for documentation.
Communication and Collaboration Tools: Important for effective team communication and project management. Examples include Microsoft Teams Slack and Zoom.
Sales Enablement Tools:To support the sales team with necessary content and training. Examples include Seismic Highspot and Outreach.

Skill set:
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
Strong business sense and industry expertise.
Excellent mentoring coaching and people management skills.
Excellent communication interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Ability to build rapport with customers and understand their needs.
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience:
Proven work experience as a Sales Manager or similar senior sales role.
Experience managing a high performance sales team.
Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
An ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics.
Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills.
Strong decisionmaking abilities.
A degree in Business Administration or relevant field

Additional Advantage:
1. Beneficial to have strong sales experience in markets such as UK and EU.
2. Good network of retail and FOB buyers across industries
