Project Technical Officer

Requirements

Essential criteria

1. Successful management and delivery of ICT related projects and/or large corporate ICT transformation programs and an ability to adapt to and work across various delivery methodologies (such as waterfall Agile Hybrid).

2. Experience with hardware installation and hardware maintenance of IT infrastructure and equipment including servers routers switches VoIP equipment computers and peripherals and wireless network equipment including associated copper and opticfibre structured cabling.

3. Experience with RF 4G LTE or Satellite communications systems equipment and installation with a strong understanding and practical experience of RF system components and supporting equipment.

4. Provide guidance and leadership to a multidisciplinary project team 3rd party vendors and/or other departmental teams to deliver projects.

Desirable criteria

1. Experience with software systems including installation administration development and testing.

2. An Open Cabling Licence with optical coax and structured (O C & S) endorsements.

3. Understanding of Antennas and associated cabling/feeder systems and familiarity of masts and associated hardware.
