As an Application Engineer/Administrator you will:

• Manage application lifecycle including deployment configuration maintenance and troubleshooting.
  
• Implement best practices for application deployment monitoring and administration.
  
• Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of applications.
  
• Provide consultancy services on a temporary basis for applications engineering/administration activities.
  
• Support ICT applications systems and operations.
  

What You Bring to the Table:

• More than 6 years of experience working as an IT professional in mid/large IT infrastructure environments including deployment support and maintenance of applications.
  
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in application administration.
  
• At least 2 years of experience with microservices container orchestration and containerbased stacks such as Docker or Kubernetes.
  
• At least 2 years of experience administering and supporting Elasticsearch.
  
• At least 5 years of experience working with enterprise Microsoft or Linux server solutions.
  
• Good knowledge of microservices container orchestration and containerbased stacks using Kubernetes Helm charts and Rancher.
  
• Good knowledge of configuration management concepts and technologies (e.g. Puppet Ansible Chocolatey).
  
• Good knowledge of shell and/or PowerShell scripting.
  
• Good knowledge of ITIL including the incident change and release management processes.
  

You should possess the ability to:

• Provide application engineering/administration support.
  
• Collaborate with teams to ensure efficient operation of application systems.
  
• Analyze and troubleshoot applicationrelated issues.
  
• Implement best practices for application deployment support and maintenance.
  
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
