Financial Planning IFA Assistant required. Excellent opportunity to take on a newly created role in a growing local company. The role

Working as part of an established team that prepares for the advisers meetings deals with a variety of administration tasks and handles ongoing client servicing.

  • Completing presale administration and creating and updating wealth reports.
  • Gathering information such as LOAs and policy information checklists.
  • Preparing the advisers for client meetings.
  • Basic report writing including fund switches reviews and new money.
  • Undertaking basic research using FE Defaqto Cashcalc etc.
  • Submitting new business to providers online completing manual application forms and ensuring cases are in force as soon as possible.
  • Assist specialist paraplanner with investment strategy administration where required.

Essential Skills

  • A keen desire to work in financial services and build a career in financial planning.
  • GCSE English & Maths (C or above).
  • Understand the financial planning process.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Analytical and ability to interpret data.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Happy to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritise and plan own workload.
  • Have unrestricted rights to work in the UK.

Desirable Skills

  • Any experienced gained working in a financial planning firm in a support role is an advantage.
