Job Description:

• In need of a Full Stack Engineer. Any Lead experience would be helpful but not necessary.
• Full Stack Engineer with strong Back End Skills in JAVA / J2EE Enterprise Technology.
• Spring Stack / RESTFUL Services / Caching etc.
• Strong DB skills
• Good Experience in AWS Services
• Experience in Build and Deployment / CICD pipeline experience / Terraform / GitHub Actions etc.
• Good communication skills someone who can drive the conversations and work independently.

We are looking for a Sr Software Engineer who will be helping contribute to one of our Learning Tools teams that is a key part of the McGraw Hills digital learning platform. The services you help develop will provide content used across K12 Higher Ed Professional and International segments. Millions of students rely on the content and services every day to achieve their educational goals which is even more critical in todays world of hybrid and remote learning.

What can you expect from the position

• Participate in the design and development of applications and services to support various business and engineering initiatives

• Work with Product Managers and the team to groom the product backlog

• Collaborate with engineers on your team on feature development and bug fixes

• Promote engineering best practices within your team to ensure quality stability performance resiliency and maintainability of your software
• Be a champion of the customers voice and ensure our products are built with customer empathy at the forefront.
• Share knowledge and practices with other teams
