Senior Engineer Net Dev

We are a worldwide leader in insurance technology is currently searching for a talented and passionate Senior Engineer to join a team creating innovative web applications and web services for the insurance industry. Operating in an Agile environment you will help design and maintain software utilizing React and .NET as well as build and scale backend services. You will be responsible for developing and iterating a marketing solution that integrates with multiple products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with the team to design and implement software utilizing Object Oriented principles design patterns and testing practices
• Design userbased interactions through effective frontend architecture
• Design and implement RESTful services and APIs on Google Cloud
• Review code written by peers focusing on readability and efficiency
• Integrate with 3^rd party APIs (both REST and SOAP)
• Ensure the entire stack is designed and built for security speed and scalability

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS JOB

• 36 years of relevant programming experience including experience with C# .Net and SQL Server
• 36 years of relevant programming experience with any of the following Typescript React or JavaScript
• Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools
• Proven ability to think creatively and develop new ways of handling technical and project tasks (thinks outside the box)
• Proficiency with microservice architecture eventdriven programming async design
• Git and continuous integration best practices
• Understanding and implementation of security and data protection
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and a head for problemsolving
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
