Job Description

This is a remote position.

Document Preparation and Management:
Assist in the preparation of legal documents including client agreements correspondence and
various migration documents
Organise and maintain electronic filing systems for efficient document retrieval
Assist with legal research to support lawyers in case preparation
Assist in the preparation of legal briefs and research materials

Client files:
Assist lawyers in managing and organising client files
Maintain and update matter tasks calendars deadlines and schedules
Communicate and coordinate with clients and external parties regarding matters
Client document collation and checking against checklists
Monitoring key dates

Client Interaction:
Communicate with clients to gather necessary information
Provide updates to clients on their matter

Administrative Support:
Schedule appointments meetings and hearings for the migration team
Handle incoming calls emails and correspondence and ensure timely responses
Perform general administrative tasks such as photocopying scanning and filing
Data entry
Use of Migration Manager
Drafting of articles
Data management for marketing purposes
Compilation of marketing reports

Requirements

Qualifications/experience:
At least 2 years of experience as a legal assistant or in a similar role
Study towards a paralegal qualification highly regarded
Experience in Practice Evolve would be advantageous
Strong organisational and multitasking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment
