Security Manager

• Strategize manage and improve compliance with security standards including international requirements like the International Shipping & Port Security Code (ISPS). This is to safeguard company assets personnel and clients.
  

• Strategize and manage initial investigations related to corrupt practices fraud criminal offenses or noncompliance with company policies. Ensure efficient effective and accurate investigative processes in compliance with legislative requirements and procedures.
  

• Advise management on internal and external security risks and threats collaborating with relevant security agencies and government bodies (e.g. Jabatan Keselamatan Negara Bahagian Keselamatan Negara PDRM) to facilitate decisionmaking and safeguard the companys interests.
  

• Formulate develop and manage effective security emergency response procedures. Train and prepare security staff for necessary emergency response actions to ensure readiness during emergencies.
  
• Collaborate with relevant Business Units in conducting regular emergency response drills.
  

• Control all personnel and vehicles accessing/exiting the companys premises and restricted areas. Monitor for irregularities to protect employees and company assets. Analyze review and implement efficient crowd control and security measures to safeguard premises and personnel.
  

• Develop and manage the companys Port Facility Security Plan (PFSP) to ensure compliance with ISPS. Obtain the Malaysia Marine Departments mandatory annual ISPS certification to promote international business growth.
  

• Develop and maintain good relationships with government agencies regulatory bodies clients security bodies auditors police and other relevant parties. Enhance security administration/investigation and expedite security processes to protect the companys interests and minimize exposure.
  

• Develop a comprehensive Security Manual covering all security areas. Constantly review for better security control and provide essential guidelines to security staff for safeguarding properties and personnel.
  

• Manage and submit adhoc and periodic security performance and management reports for managements information and decisionmaking.
  

• Lead implementation of HSE initiatives in security and promote HSE culture among all departments and staff to ensure a safe working environment.
  

• Create and maintain a healthy secure motivating and conducive work environment with a culture of excellence. Promote productivity high service standards industrial harmony discipline and integrity.
  

• Provide leadership direction and guidance to motivate and nurture potential qualified leaders for breakthrough performance.
  

Requirements

• Degree in Law or relevant field.
  
• Minimum 10 years experience in securityrelated profession with at least 3 years in a management
  
• position.
  
• Knowledge of Malaysian Security Acts and ISPS code.
