As a Bilingual School Psychologist you will have the rewarding role of providing services primarily to preschool through High school students. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team you will play a vital part in supporting the Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals of each student on your caseload. Additionally you will have the opportunity to develop workshops for teaching staff and facilitate engaging workshops for parents and teachers addressing any issues that may impact the students on your caseload.
Position Highlights:
- Conduct psychological assessments to guide educational decisions.
- Provide crisis intervention services evaluating risks and coordinating responses.
- Clearly communicate assessment findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Uphold ethical standards set by professional associations and licensing boards.
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to implement effective interventions and support strategies.
- Deliver comprehensive psychological services to students proficiently in both English and Spanish.
Requirements
- Hold a valid school psychology license in the state of Illinois.
- Possess a Masters Degree in School or Educational Psychology.
- Eligible for or currently holding endorsement in School Psychology.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish with the ability to conduct assessments and provide counseling services in both languages.
