Jr PI Automation Engineer

• Assist in Configuring PI Vision: Help in the installation configuration and maintenance of PI Vision and its integration with existing PI System components.
  
• Support Data Migration: Assist in the migration of data from PI Asset Framework to PI Vision ensuring accurate data transfer and minimal disruption to operations. Assist with Data Integration: Support the integration of PI Vision with other enterprise systems ensuring seamless data flow and accurate reporting.
  
• Ensure Data Quality: Help implement data validation and cleansing processes to maintain highquality data within PI Vision. Create Basic Visualizations: Develop and maintain basic PI Vision displays and dashboards under the guidance of senior engineers.
  
• Generate Reports: Assist in generating standard reports and automating reporting processes to enhance data visibility.Monitor System Performance: Assist in monitoring the performance of PI Vision identifying and reporting any issues or bottlenecks. Provide Technical Support: Act as a first line of support for technical issues related to the transition escalating more complex problems to senior engineers.
  
• Conduct Health Checks: Perform regular health checks and routine maintenance tasks to ensure the continuous operation of PI Vision.Contribute to Project Tasks: Actively participate in project tasks related to the migration from AF to PI Vision providing support as needed.
  
• Document Project Work: Assist in creating and maintaining project documentation including migration plans user guides and training materials.
  
• Support Optimization Efforts: Participate in optimization efforts by following best practices for system configuration and data management.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field (Engineering Computer Science or related discipline). Certifications related to the AVEVA PI System (OSI PI system) are preferred.
  
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with the AVEVA PI (former OSI PI system) within the pharmaceutical sector.
  
• Familiar with AVEVA PI architecture data modelling and system configuration best practices.
  
• Familiarity in developing interfaces and integrating PI with various data sources and systems.
  
• Experience in data visualization and reporting tools such as PI Vision PI ProcessBook and Microsoft Power BI preferred.
  
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities with a keen eye for detail. Ability to analyze complex data sets identify trends.
