Quantity Takeoff and Cost Estimation: Conduct accurate quantity takeoffs from project drawings and specifications. Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials labor and equipment required for project execution.
Cost Control: Monitor project costs throughout the project lifecycle. Identify costsaving opportunities and potential cost overruns. Implement effective cost control measures to optimize project expenditure.
Tendering and Procurement: Assist in the preparation of tender documents and bid proposals. Evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations to ensure competitiveness and compliance with project requirements.
Variation and Change Management: Assess and price variations and change orders. Coordinate with project stakeholders to minimize the impact of changes on project costs and schedules.
Progress Reporting: Generate regular reports on project costs budget variance and financial forecasts. Communicate costrelated information to project stakeholders and management.
Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure that project specifications and standards are met without compromising cost efficiency.
