3. Summary of the opportunity

Client Overview: Mojang Studios the creators of Minecraft is seeking a Financial and Business Analyst to support the Minecraft Business Team.

Role Summary: As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for processing and analyzing the financial performance of the Minecraft franchise across Console Mobile PC and new platforms. You will contribute to accurate revenue reporting financial management and decisionmaking.

4. What are the key responsibilities

Reconcile revenue statements from Minecraft Console Mobile and PC businesses

Contribute to monthly close processes including journal entries accruals and variance reporting

Manage processes for royalty statements and payments to partners

Support Business Managers with sales performance report creation and data validation

Aid Business Analytics Specialist with rhythm of business reporting and reconciliation

Audit financial processes and recommend improvements

Document existing and new business operations processes

5. What experience are we looking for to drive success

MUSTHave Skills and Qualifications:

24 years of experience in business operations and financial analysis

Bachelors degree in business management finance accounting or relevant field

Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills

Strong financial background and understanding of GAAP accounting principles

Attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent verbal visual and written communication skills

Track record of strong collaboration across teams

Passion for gaming and entertainment preferred

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

Experience with reconciliation in finance

Financial analysis and reporting experience

Attention to detail and strong communication skills
