Job Description

As the Senior Technical Project Manager you will lead in scoping planning resource allocation and coordination of AVEVA PI upgrade activities. You will proactively monitor project timelines budgets and deliverables to ensure successful project execution up to the handingover phase. You will work onsite at our client s location representing and providing worldclass customer engagement and technical expertise. You are the primary point of contact (POC) for the client s Automation Team and others and you will lead thirdparty management aspects for the integration phase.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop comprehensive AVEVA PI project plans including timelines resource allocation and risk management strategies
  • Gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Design and implement efficient data structures in Asset Framework (AF)
  • Proactively lead data migration tasks from Asset Framework (AF) to PI Vision
  • Liaise and effectively communicate with all departments regarding all aspects of the projects; inception through closure




Requirements

  • Indepth knowledge of AVEVA PI System including PI Server Data Archive and Asset Framework (AF)
  • Proficiency in PI Vision and its functionalities including understanding of PI DataLink PI ProcessBook and other relevant PI tools
  • Lead data migration strategies from AF to PI Vision
  • Expertise in data integration data modeling and data visualization
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in leading and managing largescale IT projects; highly comfortable being the primary technical and customer point of contact (POC)
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure including servers networks and databases
  • Strong communication skills and engaging personality to liaise with stakeholders including clients technical teams and senior management
  • Practice the C s of project management: communication coordination collaboration change management and creativity
  • Postsecondary technical education training or certifications

Nice to have but not required

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering Computer Science IT or their technical equivalent
  • Master of Engineering or Computer Science
  • AVEVA PI certifications
  • PMP Certification
