Job Description
Commercialand Residential Independent Contractor for Insurance Loss Control.
IndependentContractors Duties:
Thephysical characteristics exterior measurements general conditionsphotographs unusual hazards and recommendations associated with aproperty are part of our comprehensive reports that summarize theobservable hazards associated with a risk.
Theabove information is used by our client companies to determinewhether a risk meets the carriers eligibility requirements.
Inspectorsare the eyes for the insurance underwriter who isgenerally in another area and confined to an office.
Inspectorsset their own hours and work schedules in which they organize toaccommodate the needs of our clients.
InsuranceInspector Independent Contractor Qualifications:
Bean energetic individual capable of completing a high volume ofinsurance inspections.
Bemotivated analytical resourceful decisive and have goodproblemsolving skills.
Havesolid written composition and verbal communication skills.
Havea strong desire to succeed and work independently with limiteddirection & guidance.
Beselfdisciplined organized and able to manage an aggressiveworkload and have the ability to prioritize and schedule inspectionstimely and efficiently.
Notnecessary but a plus: VIITA Certification previous experience inconstruction/plumbing/electrical industries life safety/firefighting general contracting or property management.

Broadbandinternet connection
Digitalcamera or smart phone capable of interfacing with your PC

Reliableinsured transportation and valid drivers license
Ameasuring wheel monopod and a clipboard.
