Job Title: Controller Food and Beverage Operations

Compensation: $80000$90000 Full Benefits

Location: Boston MA

Job Description:

New Heights Career Services is seeking a highly skilled Controller to oversee all Food and Beverage operations within our clients unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing information maintaining accurate records assisting with accounting duties and providing timely courteous responses to inquiries or complaints from clients vendors and lenders.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and report monthly operating results to Accounting Leadership with detailed variance explanations.

• Supervise the preparation of monthly operating statements ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and Aramark policies and procedures.

• Ensure the accuracy of the general ledger.

• Review balance sheets quarterly with accountants and supervisors to ensure compliance with company policies.

• Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and client contractual obligations for all locations.

• Assist with corporate reporting and address internal auditing reports and questions.

• Participate in special projects as required by management.

• Process and organize invoices to ensure timely payment and receipt.

• Review ledgers statements and balance sheets for accuracy.

• Record financial information and provide summaries as necessary.

• Recommend actions to prevent budget misuse and reduce loss.

• Maintain accounts by recording identifying and verifying financial transactions.

• Follow internal accounting procedures and policies to ensure financial security.

• Attend conferences workshops and other informative meetings to stay current with new technologies.

• Collaborate with other accounting department members to ensure accuracy in all financial actions.

• Report to the Sr. Controller.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in accounting or financial management preferably within the food and beverage industry.

• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
