About the Department:
BYD is rapidly expanding operations in the UK. The UK Network team are laying the foundations for the brand by establishing a strong franchise retailer network. However this is no ordinary Network Development role with the team driving unprecedented network growth targeting 80 stores by the end of 2024!
About theRole:
As a Network Development Specialist you will be pivotal in expanding BYD UKs retailer network while supporting and developing our existing stores. This role requires the candidate to be fluent in Chinese able to travel frequently a valid drivers license and close collaboration with retailers and various departments across the business. Primary Responsibilities:
- Network Growth: Assist in identifying screening and managing new retailer partners to increase market share and enhance brand influence.
- Contract and Agreement Management: Lead the contracting process for new retailers including document management within the BYD system.
- Retailer Relationships: Maintain close communication with existing retailers addressing their needs and fostering ongoing collaboration.
- Retailer Onboarding: Work with internal departments including sales marketing logistics and product development to ensure seamless onboarding.
- Market Analysis: Analyse market trends competitor activities and consumer behaviour to provide insights for refining network development strategies.
- Reporting: Monitor and report on key performance indicators and network development milestones to the management team and in BYD systems.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in both English and Chinese/Mandarin
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field.
- Experience in network development dealership management or a similar role preferably within the automotive industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to travel frequently and hold a valid drivers license.
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Resultsoriented mindset focused on achieving targets and expanding market presence.
