AM Product Manager

Job Summary
Product Manager is responsible for driving growth and profitability in a product portfolio as well as
lifecycle management from planning to tactical execution. They will manage aspects of fiber solutions
strategy & growth and develop new ideas and concepts based on industry experience and the voice of
the customer. This position will collaborate with all functions of the company including but not limited
to R&D S&M Business Development Manufacturing & Operations Finance Legal and Sales
Operations.

This position will report to the Product Director.

You will make an impact in the following way:
Responsible for managing fiber cabling solutions such as loose tubes tight buffers indoor/outdoor
etc and also fiber connectivity such as patch cords MPOs connectors and passive optical network
(PON) products.
Manage product portfolio revenue profitability growth and product price lists define margin levels
and coordinate with the pricing manager to ensure the growth in revenue and profitability for various
product lines with the product portfolio.
Nurture a 3year product roadmap and product funnel through 1/ ideation & innovation process as
well as 2/ new product development stagegate process. Manage product portfolio roadmap and
lifecycle from strategic planning through to end of life.
Lead the new product development process and take responsibility for quantifying the market value
and financial viability of proposed products. Apply project management tools as appropriate.
Drive the product line business growth and work with crossfunctional teams in engineering sales
operations customer service and accounting/finance Serve as the internal and external evangelist

for the product line. Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to create comprehensive goto
market plans.

Conduct market positioning and competitor analysis systematically collecting and analyzing market
(PAM/TAM/SAM) data and competition initiates and their new product developments/product
specifications.
Provide commercial & technical assistance to S&M application engineers distributors and customers
as & when requested.
Visit key customers and distributors to understand VOC conduct product training educate them on
new technologies and solutions create value for our company spec in key parameters & features that
benefit the customers requirements troubleshoot challenges they are facing with their current

solution or from using our products. Understand plan and communicate how a product fits into
overall solutions to customer problems.
Visit the customer and project office to bring the design and interface input from the design and
solution document and deliver technical presentations and product training for customers and O&M
staff
Maintain the contract requirements concerning technical and deliverables and create customer files
and provide technical support for complete project solutions based on information and project
requirements.
Meeting with the interface partner (RST E&M OHE viaduct and tunnel) and providing the
requirements concerning DCS implementation for the entire project. Maintain the interface log and
Interface control document.
Coordinating with the Project management team and support team directly for product/feature
/design envelopment.
Providing frontline technical support on quality issues and site design improvement.
