Mainframe Developer

100% Remote

12month contract

The core function of this effort is Migrating off of Clients mainframe extracting high volumes of data and automating it in a way that it can run as a production job.

This resource will work with capacity and command center to reduce the overall impact of this effort and help set up a new system to recall data in a future state.

They will coordinate with multiple other teams to ensure this is done effectively and the need a proactive selfstarter who will go and find what they need and pull the info from the appropriate teams.

Required Technical Skills:

  • CICS
  • JCL and Mainframe Batch processing
  • Scheduling or OPC
  • RAC F
  • Cobol
  • C/C programing
  • Binary data from onload
  • REXX /Syncword
  • Windows Environment MS Office Teams Excel
  • Connect direct Nodes to a new environment or other target environments
  • Work with Volumes and volumes of PII
  • AWS/Cloud
  • Working with distributed systems or AWS is a HUGE Plus as having an understanding of Storage and supporting cloud teams as a landing spot would be key for efficiency.
