Job Description
Title: Systems Analyst
Location: St Austin Texas 78751 Remote Local Texas only
Duration: 5 Months with possibility of extension
Texas Health and Human Services Commission will provide preapproved written authorization for travel for any services to be performed away from the primary work location(s). Preapproved travel expenses are limited to the rates and comply with the rules prescribed by the State of Texas for travel by its classified employees including any requirement for original receipts.
The Candidate(s) may be required to work outside the normal business hours on weekends evenings and holidays as requested. Payment for work over 40 hours will be at the hourly rate quoted and must be coordinated and preapproved through Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
Minimum Requirements:
Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity.
Experience in working with varies types of logs HTTP headers and web services.
Experience in PowerShell scripts and/or Python. Any other similar scripting language will also be considered.
Experience in application monitoring and observability for multiple products at a large organization.
Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or technology or equivalent relevant work experience.
Possesses significant capability in creating manuals reports documentation and other written materials.
Expertly deploy and configure monitoring tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace to industry standards supporting team members and business owners in optimizing TIERS availability performance and health.
Experience integrating cloud technologies with Splunk/Dynatrace and monitoring tools.
Experience using Splunk configuring alerts knowledge objects dashboards and writing complex queries.
Exhibits substantial proficiency in analysing diagnosing and effectively resolving issues related to data communications.
Background experience in various aspects of information technology (IT) operations programming systems/software development or other ITrelated support areas.
