Job Title: Security Technical Consultant Location: Remote (within Bay Area California) Initial Requirement: One week of work at local State Fund office Submission Deadline: 5th June 2024 Duration: 12 Months Start Date: 19th June 2024 Responsibilities: Implementing technical aspects of Enterprise Security Plan mentoring junior staff creating SOPs and training documents and acting as a subject matter expert on security issues/projects. Required Technical Skills: Minimum 5 years of experience in security incident response and forensic analysis cyber threat intelligence applying IOCs project management and familiarity with various hardware operating systems network protocols databases cloud platforms security concepts and forensic analysis tools. Desired Skills: Knowledge of programming languages computer forensic experience prior SIEM experience and malware analysis skills. Deliverables: Identifying and assessing threats monitoring and responding to malicious activity performing thorough analysis of attacks providing detailed analysis and documentation identifying actionable intelligence advising the CISO and ESEC Team attending meetings as a senior lead for security matters and performing other duties as assigned.
