Job title : Crew Chief

Client : Kitchen hood and grease exhaust cleaning company

Duration : Full time permanent role

Location : Houston TX 77065

Shift : 3rd only with flexibility 2 weeks travel in a month

Job Summary: Clean kitchen exhaust hoods and ductwork and supervise crew people

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Supervise crew people

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Drives or ride to and from shop to customer location in company van.
• Removes and carries equipment from company van including ladders tools rags and plastic sheeting to and from facility job site
• Hang plastic sheeting to protect kitchen equipment
• Sweep mop and/or vacuum up water off of kitchen floor
• Assist with training of new employees
• Access roof and duct above ceilings to clean out systems
• Use power washer chemical sprayer and hand scraper to remove grease build up
• Clean up entire kitchen area after power washing is complete
• Properly dispose of wastewater and trash
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Maintain a clean driving record to be eligible to be a driver
• Must be able to travel as needed for assignments located within the country
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to use cleaning tools properly
• Ability to work flexible schedules and long hours
  

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Onthejob training provided.
  

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to sit kneel stand walk stoop bend lift push carry and pull
• Must be able to lift heavy equipment (at least 50 lbs)
• Must be able to climb and stand on a ladder
• Must be comfortable working in confined spaces
