Job Title: Infrastructure Architect/Senior Engineer

Location: Fully Remote

Hire Type: Contract W2

Experience:

Handson experience designing implementing and managing infrastructure solutions in both Microsoft and Unix environments.

Experience with largescale enterprise environments including highavailability faulttolerance and disaster recovery strategies.

Project management skills including the ability to lead crossfunctional teams prioritize tasks and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Technical Skills:

Microsoft Environment: Expertise in Windows Server Active Directory PowerShell scripting Exchange Server SQL Server Azure services and other Microsoft technologies commonly used in enterprise environments.

Unix Environment: Proficiency in Unix/Linux operating systems (e.g. Linux distributions such as Ubuntu CentOS Red Hat) shell scripting system administration networking and security.

Virtualization and Cloud: Knowledge of virtualization technologies like HyperV VMware and cloud platforms such as Azure AWS or Google Cloud Platform.

Networking: Understanding of networking concepts protocols and technologies like TCP/IP DNS DHCP VPNs VLANs routing and switching.

Storage: Familiarity with storage technologies like SAN (Storage Area Network) NAS (Network Attached Storage) RAID configurations and backup solutions.

Security: Awareness of security best practices tools and technologies to secure both Microsoft and Unix environments including firewalls intrusion detection/prevention systems encryption and access controls.

Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Ability to monitor system performance diagnose issues and optimize performance using tools like Nagios Zabbix or Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM).
