Job Description

Job Title: Care Home Administrator

Location: New Milton

Salary: 12 per hour

Hours: 25 hours per week (Monday to Friday 5 hours per day)


Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Care Home Administrator to join one of our clients at a wellestablished care home in New Milton. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of administrative operations within the care home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the care home management team including handling phone calls emails and correspondence.
  • Resident Records: Maintain accurate and uptodate records of residents including personal details care plans and medical information.
  • Admissions and Discharges: Assist with the admission and discharge processes ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and promptly.
  • Finance and Invoicing: Manage financial records process invoices and assist with payroll administration.
  • Communication: Serve as the first point of contact for residents families and visitors providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries and concerns.
  • Staff Coordination: Support the scheduling and coordination of staff shifts and training sessions.
  • Supplies Management: Monitor and order office supplies and equipment as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role preferably within a healthcare or care home setting.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook).
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to working in a care environment.
