Job Description

Position Summary:
The Bookkeeper will manage and maintain accurate financial records handle collections and accounts receivable and perform client outreach and followups via email and phone. Proficiency in Workday Google Sheets Microsoft Excel and other financial tools is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Financial Records: Accurately record all financial transactions using Workday.
  • Accounts Receivable: Manage invoices process payments monitor accounts and ensure timely collections.
  • Collections: Proactively manage collections reaching out to clients for overdue payments via email and phone.
  • Client Communication: Send emails and occasionally call clients for followups and to address any queries or concerns.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports including balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update financial data in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Support: Provide support for the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience with specific experience in accounts receivable and collections.
  • Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Workday Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to professionally handle client communications.
  • Customer Service: Strong customer service skills with a clientfocused approach.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with additional financial software or tools.
