The Senior BI Analyst is responsible for advising the business on leveraging data to identify opportunities for improvement spot trends recognize potential issues and offer solutions. In close collaboration with the senior team their work is aimed towards improving efficiency increasing productivity and driving profits for the business.

Your daily tasks will be

• Proactively supporting the business in translating the insights found into actions.
  
• Creating maintaining and developing effective strategies for data governance.
  
• Creating an environment that maximises the ability of BI services users to selfservice providing training and support where necessary.
  
• Supporting other data teams as core stakeholders of business intelligence data.
  
• Supporting in the management of all data warehouse access layers.
  
• Improving data literacy across the business introducing new KPIs and helping stakeholders understand how to look at and use data.
  
• Creating data visualisations to communicate findings effectively.
  
• Exploring complex data sets extracting and manipulating data from different data sources to support further analysis.
  
• Analysing all available data using statistical methods to identify patterns and trends.
  
• Providing forecasts for new initiatives and projects assisting with setting up targets.
  
• Behaviour analysis and A/B testing.
  
• Onboarding and training BI Analysts.
  

What we expect from you

• Ability to lead and support the business in data consumption.
  
• Strong reporting and analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  
• Comfortable leading discussions on data trends with all levels of the business.
  
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
  
• Proficient knowledge of SQL.
  
• Ability to undertake statistical analysis and data modeling.
  
• Good understanding of ETL processes.
  
• A good understanding of relational databases and key data warehousing concepts.
  
• Understanding of the administration and maintenance of Enterprise reporting and analysis applications such as MicroStrategy and Tableau.
