What does a successful Server look like

• Greet and seat guests present menus and explain daily specials or promotions.
• Take and accurately record food and beverage orders from customers.
• Deliver orders to tables promptly ensuring accuracy and presentation.
• Check on guests throughout their meal refill drinks and address any additional needs.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service.
• Process payments issue bills and handle cash or card transactions accurately.
• Clean and reset tables efficiently for incoming guests.
• Upsell menu items suggest specials or recommend additional items to guests.
• Follow health and safety guidelines in food handling and service.
• Address guest inquiries complaints or issues with professionalism and efficiency.
