Job Description

  • The Sandwich Master is responsible for creating highquality sandwiches and other related menu items while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness.
  • This role requires a passion for food excellent customer service skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.


Requirements

  • Sandwich Preparation: Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to company recipes and customer specifications ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Ingredient Management: Ensure all ingredients are fresh properly stored and available for use. Manage inventory levels and communicate with the Kitchen Manager for restocking needs.
  • Customer Service: Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner. Take orders answer questions about the menu and accommodate special requests and dietary needs.
  • Quality Control: Monitor the quality of ingredients and finished products. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the preparation area ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Properly use and maintain all kitchen equipment. Report any malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Kitchen Manager.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation and timely service. Assist with training new employees as needed.
  • Menu Development: Contribute ideas for new sandwiches and menu items based on customer feedback and food trends.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Prior experience in a similar role within the food service industry is preferred. Knowledge of sandwich preparation and food safety standards is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong culinary skills with a focus on sandwich making.
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
    • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
    • Attention to detail and commitment to food quality and presentation.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods lift up to 30 pounds and perform repetitive tasks. Must comply with food safety regulations including wearing appropriate protective gear.
