Controls Engineer

We are seeking an experienced PLC and SCADA Programmer. This position will be responsible for programming automation and controls systems involving a wide array of applications. The candidate will have proven experience in PLC logic and SCADA programming. Must be able to read logic and P&ID diagrams for program design programming simulation testing and startup. Experience with databases and reporting tools is a plus. Handson recent experience with Ignition by Inductive Automation and recent experience with Wonderware are a big plus.

Position Responsibilities

Ability to understand the scope of a project in collaboration with management and other engineers.

Analyzing system/project requirements in order to develop strategies for completing projects

Design program and/or install the controls and automation system as required

Work with other engineers as needed to complete project goals

Interact with customers to ensure product is developed according to their needs and provide customer support when needed.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years experience in control system PLC and SCADA equipment; PLC programming and system startup/debug.

Experience with any / all of the following: Rockwell RS Logix and View Platforms Inductive Automation (Ignition) Wonderware Strong project and time management skills

Troubleshooting and innovative problemsolving skills

Ability to produce project status reports as required

Maintain good documentation of projects
