Our client is in the food and beverage sector and they are looking to employ a Restaurant General Manager.
Job Summary
General Manager (GM) is responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations including production within
the fast casual restaurant ensuring exceptional guest experiences efficient operations and profitability. This role requires strong leadership skills business acumen and a passion for delivering highquality food and service.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daytoday operations and production of the restaurant outlets including staffing scheduling inventory management procurement maintenance logistics and quality control.
Ensure the production department is functioning according to standard operating procedures
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards.
Implement and enforce standard operating procedures across all departments to optimise efficiency and productivity
Participate in recruitment processes train and mentor staff to uphold company standards for service food quality and hospitality.
Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and collaboration among team members.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to HR and leadership team to drive continuous improvement.
Monitor online sales/orders online reviews and feedback platforms to address any issues and capitalise on positive feedback.
Ensure all ecommerce platforms are functioning at full capacity
Develop and manage budgets forecasts and financial goals to achieve profitability targets.
Monitor costs including food labour and overhead expenses and implement cost saving initiatives as needed.
Analyse financial reports and key performance indicators to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing initiatives to drive sales and increase brand awareness.
Participate in community events and sponsorships to support the restaurant presence and reputation
Job Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
Proven work experience as a Restaurant General Manager Restaurant Manager Hospitality Manager or similar role.
35 years of food and beverage service industry experience required.
Relevant professional qualifications are an advantage.
