Our client a leading telecommunications company in South Africa seeks an individual to conduct audits on annual financial statements encompassing testing of all account balances classes of transactions preparation and disclosure.The goal is to ensure a fair presentation and compliance with IFRS standards relevant National Treasury Regulations Practice Notes Circulars Guidelines and other pertinent legislation.

• Perform checks and balances based on Disclosure Compliance Checklist
  
• Review cut off procedures and their effects.
  
• Agree financial statements with Trail Balance and Gender Ledger
  
• Trace changes to figures verify adjustments.
  
• Ensure completeness accuracy and adequacy of disclosure notes.
  
• Check Accounting Policies compliance with IFRS.
  
• Verify management assumptions and judgements verify fair presentation of financial position performance and cash flow.
  
• Ensure the latest standards are considered and disclosed.
  
  

Requirements

• 515 years experience reviewing financial statements prepared using International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) within the telecommunications industry.
