Paradigm is currently seeking a Business Analyst I to support our clients endpoint security software sales business in Houston Texas. This person should be able to apply a basic level of subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of common business reporting documentation analytic and process improvement issues. In this role you will determine requirements using structured techniques for documentation and analysis and break down highlevel information to abstract lowlevel information. The Business Analyst I will distinguish requests vs needs classify and prioritize requirements and handle requirements change management and traceability among other tasks. Our ideal candidate will build relationships work collaboratively and have strong verbal and written communication skills. An interest in cyber and endpoint security is a plus.
Type: 6 month contract
Location: Houston Texas

As a Business Analyst I you will:
- Act as team member by providing information analysis and recommendations in support of team efforts.
- Exercise independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action follow established guidelines and interpret policies.
- Participate in the elicitation documentation analysis and validation of business processes systems and solution requirements.
- Research components of solutions to problems. Produce visualization user experience and configuration elements of solution design.
- Document requirements specifications using highmaturity methods processes and tools.
- Support requirements management and change management processes.
- Support aspects of the business cycle including proposals feasibility studies and implementations.
Requirements
Our skills and experience wish list includes:
- Bachelors degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience and a minimum of 02 years of related experience.
- Ability to perform requirements determination using structured techniques for documentation analysis
- Decomposition of highlevel information into details and abstracting lowlevel information
- Ability to distinguish requests vs. needs
- Experience classifying and prioritizing requirements
- Requirements change management and traceability
- Building relationships and working collaboratively using effective verbal/ written communication
