• Salary Range: $85000 to $95000

Role Overview:

Speechlanguage pathologists diagnose assess and treat human communication disorders including speech fluency language voice and swallowing disorders. They are committed to improving patient health and wellbeing in a multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and evaluate speech voice resonance language fluency cognitivelinguistic and swallowing disorders through tests examinations and observations.
• Develop and implement remedial programs to correct various disorders.
• Collaborate in interdisciplinary teams to establish personalized care plans.
• Educate and counsel patients and their families on communication and swallowing disorders.
• Conduct research on communication disorders and diagnostic procedures.
• Supervise and instruct communicative disorders assistants students and other healthcare personnel.

Qualifications:

• Certified by the College of Audiology and SpeechLanguage Pathology of Ontario (CASLPO) and in good standing.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to ongoing medical education.
• Proficient in managing diverse health issues across all age groups.
