Estate Trust and Gift Tax Accountant

Their team of experienced professionals provides comprehensive financial planning and investment management services to help our clients achieve their financial goals.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Estate Trust and Gift Tax Accountant. In this role you will play a crucial role in helping our clients manage their wealth effectively minimize tax burdens and ensure the smooth transfer of assets to future generations. You will be responsible for tax return review tax planning and representation services as well as supervising tax reports.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and prepare tax returns for individuals trusts and estates

Conduct tax planning for clients to minimize tax liabilities and maximize wealth preservation

Provide representation services for clients in tax audits and disputes

Supervise the preparation of tax reports for clients

Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on tax matters

Stay uptodate with tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance for clients

Collaborate with internal teams to provide comprehensive financial planning and investment management services to clients

Train and mentor junior staff on taxrelated matters

Participate in business development activities to attract and retain clients

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field

CPA or other relevant certification preferred

Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax planning and preparation preferably in a wealth management or accounting firm

Thorough understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations

Strong analytical and problemsolving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Experience with tax software and Microsoft Office Suite

Proven track record of delivering highquality work within tight deadlines

Business development experience is a plus
