Junior Accountant I

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detailoriented and motivated Junior Accountant I to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records assisting with accounting tasks and supporting the overall financial health of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Maintain and update accounting records and files.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure discrepancies are resolved promptly.
• Process accounts payable and receivable including invoicing and payments.
• Assist with monthend and yearend closing procedures.
• Prepare and submit tax filings and other financial documents as required.
• Support the senior accounting team with audits forecasts and other financial activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and regulations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
• 12 years of accounting experience preferably in a similar role.
• Basic understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP or similar).
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Good communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
