The Role:
We are seeking Surgical Registrars/Senior Registrars (unaccredited) to join a large tertiary hospital to commence in 2025!

Clinical work in this role involves managing acute / emergency cases as part of the Department of General Surgery s Emergency Surgical Unit (ESU). There is also involvement in outpatient and elective services. The Department of General Surgery offers the major sub-specialty areas (colorectal, UGI, HPB, breast, endocrine) and there would be some opportunities for exposure to those fields. During the year there may be rotations (of ~10 weeks duration) in Paediatric Surgery and/or Trauma, and there is some exposure to Vascular Surgery after-hours. There are also opportunities to be involved with other teaching and research activities.

The Hospital:
The 600 bed Hospital is the tertiary referral centre for the state, it provides a hospital service for a catchment of 250,000.
