As a leading outsourcing partners we are hiring Senior Data Engineer to work on a project for our client which is the largest provider of telecoms and mobile money services in 14 countries spanning SubSaharan Central and Western Africa.
Job Details
- Experience required Minimum 3 years for experience in Data engineering
- CTC Bracket Max upto 29 LPA
- Qualification BE/B.Tech/ Graduation in computer stream.
- Base work location is Gurugram with predominantly work from home; however team members are required to come to the office a few times in a month for meeting purposes.
- Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days (Candidates with notice period of less than 30 days are preferred)
Mandatory Skills: Python SQL (Python developers are also preferred)
Required Tech Skills:
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming language for data manipulation and automation.
- Expertise in SQL for querying and manipulating relational databases.
- Experience with data modeling and database design principles.
- Good to have experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop Spark or Kafka.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain robust data pipelines for ingesting processing and transforming large volumes of data.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Implement data quality checks and ensure data integrity and consistency across different systems.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for efficiency and performance.
- Develop and maintain ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes to integrate data from various sources into our data warehouse.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues identify root causes and implement timely resolutions.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering and recommend innovative solutions to improve our data infrastructure.
