Financial Controller - Planning and reporting

We are a leading recruitment company in Sri Lanka and looking for a Financial Controller for a reputed manufacturing PLC in Colombo. Below is the summery of the Job Decription.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial planning strategies to support the company's growth and profitability
• Prepare and analyze financial reports forecasts and budgets in a timely and accurate manner
• Provide guidance and support to the management team on financial decisions
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement
• Lead the financial planning and analysis process

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance or related field
• Professional qualification such as CA
• Strong understanding of financial reporting for PLC's
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
• Effective presentation and interpersonal abilities is a must

Desired Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial planning and reporting at Manageriel level
• Experience in a PLC is a plus in areas such as Tax month end closure and budgeting.
• Knowledge of Sri Lankan accounting standards and tax regulations
