Job Description

Job Title : Production Technician
Location : Lenexa KS 66215
Position Type : Full Time

Handson mechanical and electrical experience
Knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes
Previous laser experience is a plus
The production technician will be responsible for executing various assembly tasks such as performing mechanical and electrical assembly work and ensuring our systems meet defined safety standards. Additionally the production technician will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop future state strategies and solutions.
Outcomes:
  • The production technician is responsible for improving the companys products and processes and contributing to its revenue growth.
  • Primary Responsibilities of the Production Technician:
  • Build electromechanical assemblies and laser systems
  • Work with suppliers on procured products
  • Provide customer support both onsite and remotely
  • Ensure that installations and applications meet customer needs and safety standards
  • Collaborate with engineers to design and commission new systems
Requirements and skills:
  • Handson mechanical and electrical experience
  • Knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes
  • Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards
  • Problemsolving abilities
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Previous laser experience is a plus
Qualifications:
  • Ability to read and understand building plans and electrical schematics
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing
  • Ability to work with all levels of electrical voltage
  • Understanding of digital and analog circuits
  • Ability and willingness to travel (up to 30%)
  • 2year technology or electronics degree preferred
  • 3 5 years industry experience preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office (i.e. Word Excel etc.)
