About the opportunity:

• We are a successful Florida homebuilder is now hiring a Financial Analyst. This role involves meticulous financial analysis detailed reporting and dynamic strategic planning.
• The position is based at our corporate office in Lakeland Florida with regular hours scheduled MondayFriday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Candidates must live in Central Florida or be willing to relocate to Central Florida for consideration.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assist with analyses and reporting on a weekly monthly and adhoc basis
• Perform analytical review of financial results against the plan/forecast and before reporting the results to management
• Ability to provide thoughtful explanations for variances against expectations
• Produce monthly packages including trends variance analysis and future expectations
• Assist with the preparation of the annual operating budget and monthly forecasts
• Monitor and analyze financial performance to support operational decisionmaking and provide insight into trends risks and opportunities for improvement
• Communicate with coworkers and management in a courteous timely and professional manner
• Problem solving and critical thinking
• Other duties as necessary

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum of 3 years working experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
• Experience in Microsoft Access is preferred
• Strong quantitative analytical and financial skills
• Detailoriented and accurate with numbers and data
• Multitasking and timemanagement skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Selfmotivated having the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong efficient communication
• Work ethic
• Job costing experience a plus
