Social Media Manager - Automotive Industry

Position: Social Media Manager Richmond Hill
Location: Will generally work remotely with the occasional need to come into the Richmond Hill office for weekly meetings and locationspecific content creation. This position will also consist of intermittent travel to various parts of the US and Canada.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Manager to join our dynamic marketing team in our exciting startup environment. As a Social Media Manager you will play a crucial role in developing and executing our social media strategy across various platforms to enhance brand awareness engage with our audience and drive business growth. You will be responsible for crafting compelling content managing social media campaigns analyzing performance metrics and staying up to date with industry trends.
The ideal candidate should be a social media enthusiast with a passion for storytelling a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of social media analytics. Responsibilities:

Develop and implement an effective social media strategy in alignment with the companys marketing objectives and target audience.
Create and curate engaging and shareable content (including text image video and other media) that reflects the brands voice and values.
Manage daytoday social media activities including scheduling publishing and monitoring posts across various platforms (e.g. Facebook Twitter Instagram LinkedIn YouTube etc.).
Respond promptly to comments messages and inquiries from the audience maintaining a positive and professional online presence.
Monitor social media trends tools and best practices to incorporate innovative strategies into the overall marketing plan.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (designers writers marketing etc.) to ensure cohesive and consistent messaging across all channels.
Track and analyze social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly to achieve KPIs.
Identify and engage with influencers partners and relevant communities to expand brand reach and foster positive relationships.
Stay informed about industry trends competitor activities and emerging social media platforms to provide insightful recommendations and stay ahead of the curve.
Requirements:

Bachelors degree in marketing Communications or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role demonstrating successful management of social media platforms for brands or businesses.
Portfolio to links to professional posts is required.
Experience working with companies selling and launching new products is preferred.
Proficient in using social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite Buffer Sprout Social Klayvio) and understanding social media analytics.
Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to create compelling and grammatically accurate content.
Knowledge of graphic design and basic photo/video editing skills to create visually appealing content.
Familiarity with social media advertising and sponsored content campaigns.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with diverse audiences.
A proactive and creative mindset always seeking new opportunities to engage the audience and drive growth.
Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality.
Understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to social media content is a plus.
