Job Summary:
You will manage referrals coming in liaise with providers regarding availability of provision keep records regarding who is accessing the service and support with payments to providers and contract management of the service.
We are looking for a dynamic individual who has a clear understanding of Short Breaks provisions for disabled children and is able to work jointly with colleagues in overseeing commissioned services.
Key Duties/Accountabilities:
In some circumstances make decisions about which provision a child or young person should attend (in consultation with Social Workers where necessary).
Ensure that provider s submissions for payments are accurate (in reflection of spot purchasing contract) and query where necessary.
To support with the payments to providers ensuring that these happen on time and with minimal disruption.
Essential Experience Required:
Experience within social care health or education
Experience working with internal and external stakeholders and managing partnerships.
Experience of working in a customer focussed environment.
Essential Qualifications Required:
Hold a relevant professional or academic qualification.
