Axpo is building a bestinclass IT that will bring us to the next level in digitalization data intelligence digital workplace and collaboration. In the Data Integration department we use Azure services and MuleSoft as strategic integration platform to provide data integration solutions based on REST APIs and Azure SQL stack for many interesting projects. You are responsible for our Azure data services which we use to deliver cuttingedge data integration solutions.

What you will do

• Join an international team of experienced software engineers specializing in backend development and integrating applications using MuleSoft Anypoint platform Azure services and REST APIs.
• Take ownership of our departments Azure landing zone data storage services like Azure SQL databases Azure Data Lake Elastic stack and Power BI based monitoring and altering.
• Collaborate with integration engineers and architects and provide bestinclass SQL database solutions which are used by MuleSoft apps/APIs setting benchmarks in clean database architecture and data modelling performance HADR and extensibility.
  
• Implement and operate Azure Event Hubs for our Event Driven Architecture use cases.
  
• Implement SonarQube and provide automated code analysis and quality services to improve our software quality.
  
• Design and implement integration solutions and APIs using a learningbydoing approach to acquire proficiency in MuleSoft.
  
• Leverage infrastructureascode (IaC) to architect and provision all Azure resources and components.
  

What you bring & who you are

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science or a related field.
• Proven experience in software development with a solid background of 5 years in backend programming languages understanding of computing science fundamentals: IT security infrastructure data modelling concurrency algorithms design patterns etc.
• Successful development of DWH/Analytics platforms based on Microsoft BI stack experience with Azure data services Power BI Entra ID and in best case Elastic stack.
• Experience in working in agile software delivery teams with a track record of delivering highquality software quickly and efficiently utilizing highfrequency delivery and automated quality assurance.
  
• Good knowledge of EDA Azure Event Hubs Kafka ADF SonarQube is a plus.
• Experience in any middleware (Apigee webMethods SAP CPI MuleSoft TIBCO Boomi) is a plus.
  
• Become trained on MuleSoft and build data integration solutions on Mulesoft platform.
  
• Fluent in German and English.
