JOB SUMMARY
- Performs MRI procedures in accordance with department protocol at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
- Able to perform a variety of technical procedures including but not limited to extremity imaging MR Angiography and Body imaging.
- Responsible for administering IV and oral contrast.
- Responsible to maintain equipment and proper supplies must maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Responsible for maintaining accreditation through the ARRT and must remain a certified BCLS provider.
- Completion of approved course for radiologic technology
- ARRT Certification
- BLS Certification
- Advanced MRI registry must be completed within 2 years of hire into MRI Department.
- Theoretical instruction combined with clinical experience.
- Satisfactory references from previous employer or school of Xray.
- MRI experience preferred
