As a Python Developer at Habitat for Humanity you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining robust software solutions that support our mission of providing safe and affordable housing to communities in need.

In this role you will collaborate with a crossfunctional team of developers and stakeholders to develop clean and efficient Python code. You will contribute to the development of web applications data analysis tools and automation systems ensuring that they adhere to industry standards and best practices. Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain software applications using Python
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather and analyze requirements
• Write clean efficient and maintainable code
• Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality and functionality of software
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Keep up to date with emerging trends and technologies in Python development

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience as a Python Developer with solid understanding of Python frameworks (e.g. Django Flask)
• Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML CSS and JavaScript
• Experience with database management and SQL
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git)
• Strong problemsolving and analytical skills
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Passion for making a positive impact on society
