We are seeking a skilled individual with a keen eye for detail to fulfill the role of Accountant for a great organization. This role is hybrid working 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Heres a breakdown of what the position entails:

  • Utilizing our ERP Business System to generate comprehensive monthly reports encompassing various facets such as shipments productivity and departmental expenses.
  • Conducting meticulous monthly reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and adherence to company policies.
  • Playing a pivotal role in our monthend close process by compiling and analyzing journal entries (GL) sourced from diverse channels.
  • Performing indepth analyses of actual standard costs with a focus on scrutinizing product margins.
  • Assisting in the periodic updates of standard costs to reflect current market dynamics.
  • Managing the preparation of wire transfers for intercompany transactions ensuring seamless financial operations.
  • Providing valuable financial insights and recommendations to support the strategic objectives of other departments.
  • Maintaining meticulous records of fixed assets and ensuring their alignment with our ledger.
  • Developing monthly capital forecasts to facilitate effective financial planning and resource allocation.
  • Monitoring and ensuring compliance with SOX regulations through the review and analysis of relevant reports.
  • Collaborating on the preparation of our annual operating budget to support organizational growth initiatives.

Here are the qualifications and attributes were seeking:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in accounting with cost experience preferred manufacturing accounting.
  • Bachelors degree in accounting or related degree required.
  • Proficiency in Excel Word Access Outlook and PowerPoint; prefer AS400 or ERP experience.
  • Standard cost month end reporting fixed assets and reconciliation experience a must.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a proven ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • A thorough understanding of state and federal regulations governing financial practices.
